From the heart of the Mostviertel comes our schnitzel meat. For Café Alt Wien, a special breed of pig is bred for this purpose by a local farmer at the foot of the Ötscher. The high quality of the meat is characterized by the free-range husbandry and the altitude of the pigs. In addition, our schnitzels are baked exclusively in the pan: Deep fryer - is a foreign word for us and never existed in the Café Alt Wien - is an absolute " no go"!
